Recipes Learned in Quarantine. Week One

I just came up with an interesting idea. Every week, I share one recipe I learned in quarantine. This week, I'll keep thing simple and share my recipe for Garlic Butter.  Ingredients: 1 cup or stick of butter                          1 Teaspoon basil                     1 Teaspoon  Parsley                          1 Teaspoon salt (or to taste)                         1 or 2 Teaspoon(s) of minced garlic (depending on how much you love                garlic), you can replace the minced garlic with 2 or 4 clove of crushed garlic. Directions: put the cup of butter in a bowl (make sure the butter is softened). add in  the basil, parsley, and salt and garlic and mi to...

Studying tips

Its the start of of the Spring Semester, and some of us are already studying for the next quiz or test. Here are some tips to make studying a an easier time. 1. Take periodic breaks. Take 10 minute breaks every 30-50 minutes. I'd suggest using that time to stretch your legs and use the restroom. 2. Listen to music. This tip won't work for everyone, because I know some people who can only focus in absolute silence. But for me at least, I find that listening to some lo-fi music or my favorite podcast  really takes the stress away from studying.  3. Don't cram for an exam. Cramming overnight for an exam is far from a good idea. The fatigue from studying overnight can really hurt your performance on a test, and chances are you'd hardly retain any of the information from the night before. I'd personally recommend taking an hour each night before bed to study for any up coming exam you'd might have a week or two before hand.  4. stay hydrated. Have a cup of water or ...

Welcome to the Spring Semester at Nashua Community College

We know that this semester is different from most. But even though all of our classes are all online, we still found a way to connect. Even though we can't go on campus for our club meetings, we still used services like discord or zoom to connect with our friends. Even though we have to remain physically apart, we are still as connected as ever.
