With the Midterms around the corner, a lot of us are starting to feel anxious about our numerous exams and projects. During instances like this, I like to think of these tips I learned to take care of anxiety.
1. take 15 minutes a day to meditate. Meditation isn't for everyone, but I find that it does wonders for anxiety. Just take 15 minutes a day to sit in absolute silence, were you clear your thoughts by focusing in your breathing. if it's your first time meditating, I recommend you look up tips online.
2. Exercise regularly. Studies show that regular exercise can improve mental health, which includes lowering levels if anxiety. Around 1 hour of exercise a day can do your mind and body wonders.
3. get 8 hours of sleep regularly. sleep deprivation can lead to a number of mental problems, including raised anxiety levels. So get at least eight hours of sleep every night to lessen your anxiety.
