I Just Had Stuffed Artichokes for Easter and It Was Amazing.

This past Sunday was Easter, and while my family and I had the usually fixings of ham and potatoes, we also tried something new, a recipe for stuffed artichokes. We decided to give the recipe a shot after getting it and the artichokes in a produce box that we get bi-weekly. And I have to say it, it was delicious. The recipe was from the Food Network website, liked here: https://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/food-network-kitchen/stuffed-artichokes-recipe-2107705 .

I recommend that you give it a try yourself, though there are some thing you should know that the recipe doesn't tell you.

First, most people don't know ho to eat an artichoke, and even I had to look up videos before chowing down. Basically, you peel off a leaf and use you teeth to scrape off the "meat" from the leaf. you continue to to do this step until you reach its center and the leaves are all gone.

Second, their is more to the artichoke than just the leaves. Even people who know how to eat an artichoke don't know about the "heart". after reaching the center, you'll notice that it is covered in soft "leaves" and then a bunch of fibers. after removing the leaves and fibers, you'll each the heart, which is grayish green and has some gray paste on the top. It might sound, and even look, terrible, but it tastes great, especially with some olive oil poured on top.

With all this in mind, you're ready to devour that artichoke!

Staying Organized

With the transition to online learning, staying organized is going to be difficult. Here are three quick tips to keeping yourself organized with this new platform! 1. Keep a Planner When you’re working from home, it can be easy to forget what time, day, or even week it is. Keeping a planner and updating it daily is vital for keeping track of due dates and schedules. When you don’t have a regular class schedule, it’s important to keep a planner so that you know when your Zoom meetings are, when your assignments are due, and how that fits in with the rest of your schedule. There are so many online planner resources if you prefer to do it on your phone or computer; otherwise, Amazon has excellent planner options as well. 2. Continue to Use a School Bag I know it sounds kind of strange to use a bag when you’re staying home all day, but hear me out. If you still keep all of your stuff in your bag, not only have you contained the mess of schoolwork that you have, but y...
